CLUED-O Project

Development of innovative and reversible solid
oxide fuel cell technologies

What is the CLUED-O project?

CLUED-O aims to develop solid oxide fuel cells capable of operating at T<650°C (Gen.3), not only in fuel cell mode but also in electrolysis mode. The project focuses on creating devices with enhanced durability for improved performance through the hybridization of advanced deposition processes. This approach will optimize interfaces and the stacking of layers.

Project partners

The consortium brings together 10 partners with complementary expertise, including research centers (Materia Nova, CRIBC) ; higher education and research institutions (Centrale Lille, UMons, ULCO, ULille, UGent), an SME (Techlink) and specialists in networking and socio-economic development (Pôlénergie and Team2). The project also relies on three associated partners: cluster TWEED, VITO NV and WaterstofNet.

Interreg France-Wallonie-Flanders

CLUED-O is supported by Interreg France-Wallonie-Flanders.
This European territorial cooperation program aims to foster cross-border exchanges between the Hauts-de-France and Grand Est regions, Wallonia, and East and West Flanders.
